Play “Noises off” featuring Yllka Lota
"Noises off" is a 1982' play by Michael Frayn, was realized in Gjakova's theatre by director Ilir Bokshi, and main theatre ensemble, it took about two month to make a "play within a play". A gripping comedy that above everything else pushes the limits of acting and performance skills, with a running time of 1 hour.
"Noises off" inside it's own play-last rehearsal day, the first act "Nothing on" tells the audience about the misunderstandings between actors, the director's stress, how they manage to put together a play with all the ongoing banter.
While the second act shows one of the performance's backstage, providing a view that emphasises on the deteriorating relationships between the cast. Romantic rivalries, lovers' tiffs and personal quarrels lead to offstage shenanigans, onstage bedlam and the occasional attack with a fire axe, on the other side "nothing on" is being played for a fiction audience.
